"Boss Bitch", (alternatively "Boss B tch"; originally titled "Bitch Boss"), is a song by Doja Cat co-written by Ashnikko. The song was released as third single for the soundtrack album, Birds of Prey: The Album.
A snippet of Ashnikko's demo leaked on December 24, 2024. Ashnikko's full demo was leaked on January 13, 2025.
Background[]
Ashnikko originally wrote and recorded a demo in 2015 before beginning sessions of her debut extended play (EP), Sass Pancakes. However, she ended up discarding the track due to dissatisfaction with the end result.
The song's producer, Sky Adams, pitched multiple of Ashinkko's songs he worked on, with "Boss Bitch" being pitched to the soundtrack album of the film "Birds Of Prey". Later Ashnikko's manager got a call saying one of her songs had been pitched to another artist for the film's soundtrack, the artist being Doja Cat.[1]
When the song was released, Ashnikko tweeted:[2]

- Ashnikko said that Doja Cat gave the song the "chef's kiss."
- The first verse, the first pre-chorus and the chorus of the song remains the same as it was written by Ashnikko.
- Ashnikko also submitted "Tantrum" to be the soundtrack for the film "Birds Of Prey" but decided to release it as a single.
- On January 19, 2025, Ashnikko commented on a TikTok video about her demo's leak, stating "now how tf y'all get this".
