Background

Ashnikko posted a short text referencing the song on May 24, 2019. The theme of the text is reminiscent of the theme of her debut album:

“	I’m the type of forest nymph that will lure you into the darkest part of the forest and make you dance with me until your feet bleed and your smile hurts your face, but you just keep on dancing forever and ever until you forget your name and then slowly roots take hold of your body and you become a gnarled tree where no one will ever find you until one day a beautiful heartbroken woman stumbles upon you, and lays her head on your roots as she cries and as soon as her tears touch your bark, you magically become who you once were before you met me, the forest nymph, and you both look in each other’s eyes and fall madly in love and create a beautiful happy family together until one day your son is playing in the forest and meets me and I lure it into the darkest part of the forest and make him dance with me until his feet bleed and his smile hurts his face, but he just keeps on dancing forever and ever.......	”
